Our products include custom window treatments, wall coverings, floor coverings, a wide selection of high-quality fabrics, furniture, bedding, accessories and gifts for your home.

The products we offer are all custom elements of a room which becomes part of a home or office. Rooms get created by utilizing the custom designs envisioned by Impressions of Fredericksburg designers. Products get integrated into an overall design concept creating environments (rooms/homes) pleasing to the client (see our Portfolio). From us you can implement a product, a set of products, or an entire home.

Most of our products are custom designed whether in color, pattern, composition or size.

Window Treatments

Window treatments are utilized for insuring privacy, for light, sound and energy control, and for aesthetic purposes. We can create any type or style, whether soft design or hard design to satisfy these needs. Soft types can include (among others) panels, draperies, swages & cascades, jabots, valances & cornices, and shades. Common hard varieties include blinds, plantation shutters, and shades. The designs can be of horizontal or vertical orientation and can be remotely controlled/motorized. Mostly, our window treatment designs are customized in fabric, style and size.

Wall Coverings

Wall coverings are a critical component of any total room/home design. Designer wall coverings are selected by color, design, texture, and surface to insure coordination and compatibility with other design elements and to achieve the desired ambiance of a space. Typical wall coverings can be selected from papers, paint, fine painting, faux finish, vinyl, grass cloth, natural materials, fabrics/cloths, and murals. We assist you in the selection of the wall covering and insure its installation.

Floor Coverings

Floor coverings have as their major intents the comfort level of a room and the absorption of sound. It is also critical to make sure that floor coverings fit with the other elements of a room/home; especially as regards color, texture, and design. We provide design consultation and products of various styles and designs: area rugs or wall-to-wall carpet, tile, wood and floor cloths. Fiber-based products can be any fiber (from wool to nylon to grasses and the more exotic). We can supply standard products, custom designs, custom sizes, with various weaves, and colors highlighted with special borders and bindings.

Fabrics & Trim

For use in window treatments, upholstered furniture, bedding, wall covering, pillows and other elements, designer fabrics and trim help to create the desired effect. Whether cotton, silk, wool, nylons, mixed triacetates, polyester or polyolefin the fiber of choice can be selected of any weave, pattern, texture or color. Patterns can be created in the weave or imprinted, by machine or by hand. Our customers purchase fabric and trim only or select fabric and trim to be fabricated into any product in the workrooms utilized by Impressions of Fredericksburg.

Furniture

Furniture selection for any room or home design works with all the other components to achieve the desired style, comfort, and aesthetics. We provide case goods from multiple suppliers in custom wood finishes or standard finishes. Upholstered goods are customized in fabrics/trims and size or can be of standard varieties. Whether wood, fabric, glass, metal or mixed components, the appropriate style for any room can be provided.

Hardware

Hardware is an important component in all rooms and in several product types - on windows, plumbing, drawers/doors, etc. As rods, rings, finials, tiebacks, brackets, hooks, scarf holders or as pulls, knobs, handles, and hinges. Hardware components lend to the function and aesthetics of any design. They significantly enhance the fabric used in all designs. Hardware can be customized or standard and can be of almost any composition or color: wood, metal, crystal or glass.

Bedding

We design custom bedding to complete the aesthetics and match the design elements of your bedroom. With duvet covers, shams, bed skirts, pillows and bolsters, these products bring the full design into line. These designs can be of custom style, custom size and of customized fabrics and trim.

Accessories

We can accessorize a room, home or office to significantly enhance the overall design. Accessories ensure the overall style and aesthetics and work to make compatible the design characteristics of the other product selections.
